President’s Message

 

As we close out November, it’s a natural moment to pause and reflect on what we’re grateful for. This season reminds us to appreciate the people who make our lives, our work, and our communities stronger. For ASCE Sacramento Section and ASCE as a whole, that gratitude begins with you—our members and volunteers.

 

ASCE is built on the commitment of individuals who choose to give their time, energy, and expertise. Without the people who step up to lead, organize, support, and volunteer, our organization simply wouldn’t exist. Every meeting held, every outreach event planned, every initiative launched—these happen because of members who care deeply about the civil engineering profession.

 

By volunteering your time, you are not only investing in your own careers, but also uplifting the future of civil engineering. You help strengthen our community, inspire the next generation, and ensure that our profession continues to grow and thrive.
